The site drains into an unnamed tributary of Clarke Creek in the Catawba River Basin. The site visit and file review revealed that the subject facility is covered by NPDES Stormwater General Permit NCG 110000. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation during the inspection. Accordingly, the following observations were noted during the inspection: 1)Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) Yes X No A SPPP has been developed and properly. implemented. 2 Qualitative Monitoring _Yes X No Qualitative monitoring has been conducted and is recorded in accordance with permit requirements. One exits at a ditch near the entrance and unloading area and the second discharges out the back of the property behind the operations building. Scrape equipment is stored in this area and runoff would drain to this area. The report should be self-explanatory. Please be advised that violations of the NPDES General Permit are subject to a civil penalty assessment of up to $25,000.00 per day for each violation. A review of the certificate of coverage has indicated that an error was inadvertently made. Accordingly, we are forwarding herewith modifications to the subject certificate of coverage to correct the error. This modification is issued to change the receiving waters to Clark Creek. Please find enclosed an amended certificate of coverage page which should be inserted in your issued document. The old certificate of coverage page should be discarded. All other terms and conditions contained in the certificate of coverage remain unchanged and in full effect. This modification is issued pursuant to the requirements of North Carolina General Statutes 143-215.1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between North Carolina and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
