Re: Division of Water Resources Groundwater Evaluation (GWE)
Water Supply Well #AC62807
4165 Semora Road
Semora, N.C.-Person County
Dear Mr. Hughes:
Enclosed is the Groundwater Evaluation report from the Division of Water Resources
concerning water sample #AC62807 collected from the water supply well system atyour residence
at 4165 Semora Road in Semora-Person County on May 9, 2019. The laboratory result was
previously mailed to you.
Please note that two water samples were collected during the site visit. Raw groundwater
was collected at the wellhead and a treated water sample was collected at the wellhouse treatment
spigot. The GWE corresponds to the raw untreated groundwater. The GWE does n t evaluate the
treated water sample collected from the well.
Please contact me at (919) 791-4242 if you have any questions or have not received a copy
of the analytical results regarding this test.
Sincerely,

For this sample, there were no exceedances of the established 15A NCAC 02L .0202
Groundwater Quality Standards. Based on this sample, this well is a suitable source of drinking water and
should not create a threat to human health.
Note: Several results from the sample were not quantifiable. This does not indicate that the
sample is analyte free, but that the analyte was not detected at or above the reliable quantifiable limit, or
the practical quantitation limit. These results are unable to be evaluated in terms of exceedance5 of the
established 15A NCAC 02L .0202 Groundwater Quality Standards. Analytes of interest that were not
quantifiable are shown below:
