I am working through the huge back log of stormwater permits we have waiting to be issued/reissued and I am now taking on our Asheville region. What I need from you: • Any stormwater monitoring data you have for the facility (there may be none because we never issued a permit); A verification that the information in the application is still is still complete and correct; and; An explanation of any operational changes since the application was submitted. The following link will take you to an online search box where you will be able to enter your permit number and review the facilities information to make sure it is correct: https://reports.ncdenr.org/BOE/Open Document/1703191515/CrystalReports/viewrpt.cwr?id=25212&apsuser=BIMS U &apspassword=blOMs cr%28ddnri59%29&apsauthtype=secEnterprise&cmd=EXPORT&EXPORT FMT=U2FPDF%3AO. During this time we will be able to address any comments or concerns you have about your permit draft. • During the same 30-day period, the draft will be sent to an Asheville Regional Office staff member for review and the permit draft will be sent for Public Notice. • Once all comments and concerns are addressed, you will be issued the final permit. In the application, it is stated: "Andy Oxy Co., Inc is primarily in the retail sales business, selling compressed gasses and materials associated with the use of compressed gases. There is also a small manufacturing portion of the business which uses calcium carbide and water to generate acetylene gas (for retail sale), water, and calcium hydroxide ("slaked lime"). The calcium hydroxide and water is discharged to an unlined earth basin for gravity/atmospheric dewatering and storage (for subsequent retail sale). The facility also contains an aboveground diesel storage tank to store and deliver diesel to company vehicles. The industrial activities, including the storage of diesel, occurs on the western portion of the property (OF-1 drainage area). Customer and employee vehicle parking occurs on the eastern portion of the property (OF-2 drainage area)." Is this description still pretty accurate?
