Hey Rick,
For this I only need the parameters included in the stormwater permit. You could leave out TTO if you
want to, but if you have already done the work, seeing it would be fun. I think it is great you are
monitoring extra parameters.

We also have organic measured also by Horizon. If you don't need this I will delete column and just
report TSS.
Thanks

That spreadsheet looks great. This is probably just a typo, but in your permit the
monitoring parameter is total suspended solids and not total toxic organics. I just
wanted to clarify so I didn't send you hunting for the wrong information.
Thanks,
Lauren

Attached is a sample of the information that we plan to put together starting with
information from 2014.
Let us know if this will suffice and we will populate and return.
There has been no operational changes since 2013 other than similar machines, better
coolant recycling process and new heat treat system.

Subject: NCS000324 Permit Renewal/Updated Information
Caution: This email originated from outside ConMet.
Greetings Rick,
I am working on renewing your individual stormwater permit (Permit No. NCS000324).
The permit is drafted, but there is some information I am required to ask you for to (1.)
confirm that the information I have is correct and (2.) make sure the permit adequality
serves the needs of the facility.
What I need from you:
A spreadsheet summarizing all of the monitoring data that has been
collected since the effective date of the current permit;
A verification that the information in the renewal application is still is still
complete and correct; and
An explanation of any operational changes since the renewal application
was submitted.
The following link will take you to an online search box where you will be able to enter
your permit number and review the facilities information to make sure it is correct:
https://reports. ncdenr.org/BOE/Open Document/1703191515/Crystal Reports/viewrpt.c
wr?id=25212&apsuser=BIMS U&apspassword=blOMs cr%28ddnri59%29&apsauthtype
=secEnterprise&cmd=EXPORT&EXPORT FMT=U2FPDF%3AO. The permit application is
from 2014 so it is possible some information will need to be updated.
Information can be updated using the links provided below, where applicable:
Owner Update: https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Name-Change
Owner Affiliation (i.e., someone with the company who is designated to represent the
company per signatory requirements in the permit (e.g., CEO) or another authorized
representative): https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Owner-Affiliation
Company of Facility Name: https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Name-Change
What happens next:
• Once I have the above listed information, I will verify the "draft" permit
information is correct;
• Usually a site "inspection" follows this; however, this was completed with DEQ
staff and the EPA on 3/21/19. The DEQ and EPA inspection was combined; however the
stormwater renewal permit is separate from the EPA Inspection Report you will be
receiving.
• A 30-day public notice will be issued and during this time the "draft" permit will
be submitted for a review and Comment period to you and to the DEQ regional office;
• Provided there are no complications, at the end of the 30-day public notice and
review/comment period, after a period of at least 15 more days, we will be able to issue
you the "final" permit.
Feel free to contact me with any questions as well.
Thank you and happy Monday,
Lauren
