Mr. Young and staff with the Town of Woodfin: Below is a summary of the inspection/audit as it will be conducted on August 28t" and 29t"of 2019 by staff from the Asheville Regional Office with the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality. Please provide an address for the location you prefer this inspection/audit to take place so that a more detailed appointment can be sent. Tentative schedule: 8 28 19: We will be looking for the Town staff to do a brief 10-15 minute overview of each of the following minimum measures: Public Involvement and Participation, Public Education &Outreach, Post-Construction Site Runoff Controls, Pollution Prevention &Good Housekeeping, IDDE(Illicit Discharge, Detection and Elimination.)We would also like you to have available any guidance documents, SOPS, SPPP, etc. for us to review. This will be followed by an in depth evaluation and discussion concerning the Town of Woodfin's Stormwater Program. I understand that Buncombe County implements the following permit requirements on your behalf: Construction Site Runoff. To save time on that day, by August 7, 2019, please send us pdfs of Your SW Management Plan, SW ordinance, guidance documents, SOPS, inspections forms/templates, SW training records, SW legal agreements and/or MOAs, etc. 8 29 19: We will want to accompany and evaluate the Town's MS4 inspector while they perform site inspections at municipal facilities in Town (public works yard and similar), as well as any number of major outfalls in the Town's MS4.This will be followed up by a wrap-up meeting to discuss and go over the preliminary observations.
