Do I need to wait until the modified permit is issued before I apply for representative outfall status for these fifteen outfalls? Ross E. I was told by the Site Environmental Coordinator that the herbicide takes about a week to work. He was going to go by the area today and check on the progress. I will let you know the status as soon as possible because I would like a finalized list to provide for representative outfall status. Ross E. I'd rather wait a couple of weeks than have to modify the permit multiple times. Both modifications are minor modifications so we can change the permit now and again in a few weeks without public comment. That being said, I prefer to limit the number of times that I modify the permit if for no other reason than avoiding having 3 or 4 versions of the same permit. Modifying the permit might also mean meeting again with the Regional Office to determine representative sampling, monitoring points, modifying sampling protocols, etc. Mike Randall Stormwater Permitting Program NC Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR) 1612 Mail Service Center Raleigh, North Carolina 27699-1612 Office: 919-807-6374 Cell: 919-389-7801 Email correspondence to and from this address may be subject to public records laws From: Hartfield, Ross Evan [mailto: Ross.
