CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE
1. Obtain plan approval and other applicable permits.
2. Flag the work limits and stream areas for protection.
3. Hold preconstruction conference at least one week prior to starting construction.
Lift Station and Access Roadway
4. Install temporary gravel construction entrance.
5. Install temporary sediment trap.
6. Rough grade access road, lift station site, and detention ponds; stock pile top soil and
install silt fencing as needed. I
7. Install catch basins, extend existing culverts, and install storm water pipes. Install
inlet protection around catch basins. Install head walls and rip rap outlet protection on
extended storm water pipes.
8. Install concrete headwalls, inlet box, and 18-in storm drain pipe in wet detention pond
west of the lift station. Plug the weir in concrete riser and construct a temporary
sediment trap in this basin. Install headwall and rip rap outlet on 18-in storm drain.
9. Construct Lift Station.
10. Complete final grading for lift station, access road, and swale. Stabilize access road
with gravel. Install long term matting in swale, and stabilize all disturbed areas.
11. Once all upstream areas have been permanently stabilized, convert temporary
sediment trap and sediment basins into bio-retention ponds and install rip rap outlets at
all headwalls.
