A temporary construction dewatering well network was installed to sufficiently lower the groundwater table in order to construct the lined retention basin for the Site's overall water redirect project. Construction dewatering for the lined retention basin installation commenced on August 28, 2017, pumping began October 25, 2017, and concluded on July 8, 2018. The dewatering equipment will be disassembled and removed from the site. These dewatering wells will be abandoned per 15A NCAC 02C .0113 and well abandonment records will be submitted as required per 15A NCAC 02C .0114.
