Another update of the Form 2C Item VI, was submitted with the supplemental application in 2014 and again in 2016. This update includes a chemical used in the cleaning and maintenance of the process water reverse osmosis system and may be sent to the ash pond in the reverse osmosis waste stream The following update to this list represents a replacement of this chemicals due to product improvements and/or availability Hypersperse MCD7041 As needed R O Anti-scalant (Organic Polymer) The Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for this chemical is enclosed for your information and inclusion in the facility's application file Also enclosed is an updated attachment to the NPDES application entitled "Form 2C Potential Discharges". We do not anticipate any changes to the permit being necessary based on this submittal. This is being submutted to update the administrative file. If you have any questions or if you need any, additional information, please contact Tina Woodward at (704) 382-4585 or ting woodward@duke- energy.com. Sincerely, 16 vV Garry A.
