Dear Sir or Madam,
On July 27, 2025, the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality(NCDEQ)received a
Representative Outfall Status Request Form for the above referenced facility. That form indicates
that the facility would like to sample Stormwater Outfall 001 as representative of Outfall 002 and
Outfall 003 as representative of Outfalls 004, 005, 006, and 007. Based upon the information
submitted with the form, and inspections completed by NCDEQ staff on July 10, 2025, the
representative outfall request is hereby approved.
Note that representative outfall status does not apply to Qualitative Monitoring, which is still
required at each outfall. Representative outfall status likewise does not reduce sampling frequency
or change the monitored parameters. By receiving the representative outfall request, the facility
can avoid sampling Outfall 002 because it is represented by samples from Outfall 001 and Outfalls
0049 0059 006, and 007 because they are represented by samples from Outfall 003.
Please append this letter to your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) or permit to
document that representative outfall status has been approved. If changes in drainage areas,
structures,processes, storage practices,or other activities occur that significantly alter the basis of
this approval, representative outfall status may no longer be valid. You should either resume
sampling at all stormwater discharge outfalls or reapply to this office for representative outfall
status based on updated information. Additionally, unless site conditions change as described

above, this approval is for the remainder of the permit term. When the permit renews, the facility
would need to reapply for representative outfall status,if desired.

Inspection Summary:
An inspection was conducted on July 10,2025, in response to a Representative Outfall Status(ROS)request.Site contacts
Nate Grundmann,Ben Griffin,and Tyler Nelson were present during the inspection.
The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP),analytical monitoring data,outfalls, and their respective drainage areas
were reviewed and evaluated during the site visit.The rationale provided in the ROS request for assigning representative
status to certain outfalls was found to be reasonable based on the observed outfall locations and associated drainage areas.
It is recommended that Outfall 001 be designated as representative for Outfall 002, and that Outfall 003 be designated as
representative for Outfalls 004,0059 006,and 007 for analytical monitoring purposes, as described in the ROS request.
