Mr.Jerry Eplin:
The Corning Optical Communications, LLC facility located at 1164 23rd St SE, Hickory, NC 28602 currently operates
under General Permit No. NCG030000, as evidenced by Certificate of Coverage No. NCG030246. Results from the
facility's April 2025 stormwater sampling event exceeded benchmark levels for Total Suspended Solids at Outfall 3.The
stormwater sample was collected on 4/22/25, and we received the analysis from Statesville Analytical on 5/01/25.The
Outfall 3 sample resulted in a Total Suspended Solids level of 127.3 mg/L.
