1. How to determine the most recent published and archived PDF version of the Soil Survey
Map

a. See the North Carolina Surveys page (https://archive.org/details/usda-nc)

b. Type in county, choose “Search Metadata,” sort by “Date published”, then click
“Search this collection.

c. select the most recent soil survey by date.

d. Click on PDF to download the soil survey.
