Inspection Summary:
On November 26, 2024 this site was inspected to determine applicability of a ROS Application.
We met with David Shellenbarger and Edward Walter on site. During the inspection, the following items were noted:
1)Temporary belt press on site should be monitored regularly to confirm all containment devices are employed to eliminate
the possibility of runoff which has come into contact with waste.
2) Examination of Glycerin tanks on site suggested that secondary containment may be compromised.To maintain general
permit compliance, all secondary containment structures should be inspected to confirm correct operation.
3) Several representative outfall scenarios were discussed during the inspection, but the absence of monitoring data made it
difficult to say for sure what may be allowable.
4) Outfall adjacent to the bridge as the fence line could be removed from the site plan.
