Implementation Status of the Stormwater Program*
Please describe summary of implementation and compliance status.
Currently,the City of Winston-Salem is in a deferred status of new MS4 permit issuance,since the North Carolina Attorney General's Office
providing legal interpretation regarding industrial inspection authority. As a result,the City of Winston-Salem is operating its old(current)MS4
permit;the enclosed annual report is reflective of the approved FY 2022-2023 Stormwater Management Plan. The City continues to maintain a
status of compliance with programmatic functions of permit requirements,as denoted.

Include revisions to assessment of controls and any fiscal analysis revisions.Note:Proposed changes shall be submitted as part of a revised
Stormwater Management Plan(SWMP).
As stated above,the City of Winston-Salem is waiting for issuance of its new MS4 permit from DEMLR. Once the permit has been issued and
accepted by the City,a new SWMP will be created by Stormwater staff and submitted to DEMLR for approval. Once approved,the City will
implement new programmatic functions to comply with permit and SWMP requirements.
