Ashley Vansant, being duly sworn, says:
That he is Publisher of the Washington Daily News,
a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed and
published in Washington, Beaufort & Hyde Coun-
ties, North Carolina; that the publication, a copy of
which is attached hereto, was published in the said
newspaper on the following dates:
10/07/23
That said newspaper was regularly issued and
circulated on those dates.
The sum charged by the Newspaper for said publi-
cation does not exceed the lowest rate paid by com-
mercial customers for an advertisement of similar
size and frequency in the same newspaper in which
the public notice appeared.
There are no agreements between the Washington
Daily News and the officer or attorney charged with
the duty of placing the attached legal advertising
notices whereby any advantage, gain or profit ac-
crued to said officer or attorney.

Notice of Intent to Modify
an NPDES General
Wastewater Permit
The North Carolina Environ-
mental Management Commis-
sion proposes to modify the
following NPDES wastewater
general permit:
NPDES General Permit No.
NCG530000 for the discharge
of treated wastewater result-
ing from seafood packing and
rinsmg operations, as well as
from fish farms and hatcheries
defined as concentrated aquat-
ic animal production (CRAP)
facilities with production levels
above specified minimums.
Written comments regarding
the proposed modified general
permit will be accepted until 30
days after the publish dale of
this notice. The Director of the
NC Division of Water Resourc-
es (DWR) may hold a public
hearing should there be a signif-
icant degree of public interest.
Please mail comments and/or
information requests to DWR
at the above address. Interest-
ed persons may visit the DWR
