Responses to review comments are placed below the comment and indented. Please correct the following: • It is unclear what portions of the new septic tank system will be located above/below ground(for example, plan sheet U1.3 shows the pump tank, air relief valve, and pressure manifold box as extending above the ground surface). Please clarify which portions of the new system will extend above ground (and contribute to the BUA of the site). This clarification may be made in the response to comments. • Please provide a brief table/summary comparing the amount of BUA associated with the prior approved sewer connection system vs. the new proposed septic system (i.e. demonstrating that there is no increase in BUA associated with this change). This clarification may be made in the response to comments. • Please upload the electronic files associated with this latest submission to the following website: https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload. Electronic files are required per Part B of the Minor Modification Form. The proposed septic system components will be located below ground with the exceptions listed below. Associated built-upon area calculations are included. Pre-treatment Pod: 121 SF Septic tank, pump tank, recirculation tank access covers: 45 SF Pressure manifolds: 36 SF TOTAL: 202 SF Previously proposed sewer system components and associated built upon area deducted from total: Lift station riser: 25 SF Total Build-Upon Area per Modification: 188,800 SF Built-Upon Area Percentage as Approved: 3% Built-Upon Area Percentage as Modified: 188,800/6,473,100 = 3% Please provide the following: • 1x response to comments. • 1x electronic copy of the submittal items. • 1x hard copy(2x hard copies for plan sheets) & 1x electronic copy of any other items needed to address these comments. Electronic copies of submittal items will be provided as requested. Hard copies of revised documents will be mailed.
