Explain the purpose of the proposed project (continue on back): The purpose of the project is to stabilize localized sections of the left descending bank that were damaged during Tropical Storm Fred. 2b. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used: The bank will be sloped at roughly 2.5:1 using a track mounted excavator operating from the top of bank. The sloped bank will be seeded, mulched and covered with coir matting, and will be live-staked during the following dormant season with native shrubs. The total bank length to be stabilized will not exceed 99 linear feet. Work will be scheduled outside of the trout moratorium (April 15 to October 15). C.
