Eplin,PE 1. Sediment Basin 7B cannot be removed until diversion SSC-5 is operational to Basin 7BR. Likewise, installing SSC-5 will cause flow issues for the discharge from Basin 7B. To alleviate this problem, either install a temporary diversion upgradient of Basin 7B, discharging to Basin 7BR, or install a culvert allowing Basin 7B to discharge while SSC-5 is being constructed. 2. The limit of disturbance is shown partially crossing a stream near the discharge of Basin 7BR. It is assumed that this is a drawing error. Disturbance to the stream is not permitted as part of this Erosion and Sediment Control Plan approval. 3. The emergency spillway for Basin 7BR is not shown at the correct elevation in the drawings. It is recommended that you modify the drawings addressing this issue and issue#2 above, prior to issuing the drawings for construction. 4. Only one set of drawings was submitted with this revision. Please submit another full-sized set of drawings to our office—we require two sets of drawings for each project. 5. Additional measures may be required-The applicant is responsible for the control of sediment on-site. If the approved erosion and sedimentation control measures prove insufficient, the applicant must take those additional steps necessary to stop sediment from leaving this site.
