This inspection was conducted as a Compliance Evaluation Inspection (CEI) to ensure compliance with permit requirements and conditions. The subject facility appeared to be well operated and maintained; however, it was noted during inspection issues with the newly installed influent screening and grit removal equipment. The screening device and grit removal unit was not operational at the time of inspection. We wish to thank the operator for his assistance regarding this inspection. The Permit Renewal Application was received by the Division on September 1, 2022. A draft permit was issued for review on October 10, 2023. At time of inspection facility was operating under expired permit. Permit is for the discharge of wastewater into the Rocky River via (Outfall #002) and emergency oufall to Long Creek (Outfall #001) until expansion above 0.9 MGD. This facility was under a SOC (SOC-S19-003)that expired on January 31, 2023. This facility expanded from 0.9 MGD to 1.2 MGD under Atuhorization to Construct #43532A01. A compliance review was conducted for violations that occurred from February 2023 through August 2023. It was also noted during inspection that influent screen and grit removal was not in operation.
