Dear Marian S. Clark:
On September 12, 2023, the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) received a
Representative Outfall Status Request Form for the above referenced facility. That form indicates that the facility
would like to sample Stormwater Outfall #1 as representative of Outfall #2. Likewise, the form indicates that the
facility would like to sample Stormwater Outfall #3 as representative of Outfall #4. Based upon the information
submitted with the form, and the inspection completed by Mr. Jerry Eplin of NCDEQ on November 17, 2023, the
representative outfall requests are hereby approved.
Note that representative outfall status does not apply to Qualitative Monitoring,which is still required at each outfall.
Representative outfall status likewise does not reduce sampling frequency or change the monitored parameters. By
receiving the representative outfall requests,the facility can avoid sampling Outfall#2 and Outfall#4 because they
are represented by Outfall#1 and Outfall#3,respectively.

Inspection Summary:
Inspection was completed to evaluate Representative Outfall Status request submitted by Curtis Daniels. Met Mr. Daniels
on site. Discussions revealed that JC Steele would like to sample Outfall#1 as representative of Outfall#2 and would like to
sample Outfall#3 as representative of Outfall#4.
Based upon inspection of the outfalls and their associated drainage areas, this ROS appears to be appropriate.
