The maps and explanation describing the inclusion of four parcels annexed to the City since 2015 document the revised boundary. DEMLR approves these boundary changes in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 143-214.5 and North Carolina Administrative Code 15A NCAC .0100, .0200, .0620-.0624. DEMLR understands that the City of Belmont Watershed Review Board and City Council have already approved the revised boundary. For future potential boundary change requests, 15A NCAC 2B .0623 (4)requires that all revisions to the water supply watershed boundaries must be approved by the Environmental Management Commission(EMC)or its designee prior to adoption by the local government.
