Re: Project Name: Summit Charter High School Expansion
New Submittal ( ) Revision ( ) Modification (X)
Please be advised that Article V, Section 5.3.4, b,iii of the Jackson County Unified
Development Ordinance requires that a copy of the approved soil erosion control plan be on
file at the job site.
Our office received a modified plan to match the work that has been done onsite; this
modification has been approved with the condition that we will have to get a final as-built plan
for stormwater disposal before the project is closed out.
Metal post, wire backed silt fencing need to be installed onsite (8' maximum span standard strength
fabric with wire fencel.
Project is in an area with waters designated a class B Trout Stream with Outstanding Resource Water
(B;Tr ORW);a 30-foot Buffer Zone set back is required from the top of the bank of all perennial
streams.
There were no comments by Jackson County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Approval does not cover areas which require 401 and 404 permits from the US Army Corps of
Engineers and NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources,and/or other such governing
agencies, until such time as said permits are in place.
This approval does not exempt this project from any other state or local permits or regulations that
may be additionally required.
Please know that approval of this sedimentation and erosion control plan does not qualify this site for
vested rights with regard to the proposed subdivision ordinance and that this development may be
subject to the subdivision ordinance when adopted.
Note: Should the plan not perform adequately; a revised plan will be required.
