degrees West 3.58 chains to a stake; thence South 3
degrees West 9 chains to a stake ; thence North 87
degrees West 1 chain to a stake; thence South 3 degrees
West 21.40 chains to a stake and pointers; thence
South 87 degrees East 1 chain to a stake; thence South .
3 degrees West 28 chains to a stake on the south side
of Crabtree Creek; thence South 87i degrees East
16.45 chains to a stake; thence North 1% degrees East .

South, and being Farms No. 8, 9, 11 and 12 of the C. L. .
Duke Property shown on plat by M. E. Chappell,
Registered Surveyor, dated October 8, 1913, and recorded
in Plat Book 1911, Page 75, Wake County Registry, to
which reference is hereby made for a more particular -
description. See Deed Books 1064, Page 521, and Book 729,
Page 96, Wake County Registry.

This conveyance is made subject to lien of ad valorem
taxes on the above described land for the year 1967, and to
utility easements of record in the Wake County Registry affect-
ing the above described land.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the afaresaid tracts or parcels of
land and all privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging
to the said parties of the second part, their successors and
assigns, to their only use and behoof forever.
And the said parties of the first part for themselves
