HUM Subject: Additional Flow Allocation for the Fayetteville Public Works Commission's Cross Creek Water Reclamation Facility Dear Mr. Allen: In December 2022, as part of its Delegated Permitting Authority, the Fayetteville Public Works Commission (PWC) requested that the Cross Creek Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) be allocated a flow of 150,000 gallons for calendar year 2023. To date, approximately 120,000 gallons have been allocated through our Delegated Permitting Program. We anticipate that any additional permits issued during the remainder of 2023 will exceed the requested allocation. Therefore, we are requesting an additional allocation of 50,000 gallons for the remainder of 2023. This will bring PWC's total allocation for 2023 to 200,000 gallons for the Cross Creek WRF. For the time period January through July, the Cross Creek WRF received an average of 10.9 million gallons per day (MGD), with a permitted capacity of 25 MGD. Please contact me at (910) 223-4734 if you have any questions or require additional information. cc: project file Sincerely, PUBLIC WORKS John P. Allen, P.E.
