Financial ➢ April operating income was $134K better than budget and $467K after the payroll tax credit. D. April Commentary: Membership$24K worse than budget due to the dues increase deferred(equated to$40K monthly),F&B net income$77K better than budget, Golf Operations net income$13K better than budget, Sports Center net$26K better than budget,Merchandise$7K better than budget,Kids Club$5K worse than budget, Golf maintenance was$18K worse than budget, Grounds Maintenance $1K worse than budget, B&F was $14K better than budget, Admin better than budget by $7K, Marketing better by $36K. ➢ The government relief ended following the lift of pandemic restrictions on May 14th. ➢ Total assets currently stand at $35.8M. Membership cash totals $67K. Cash on hand totals $6.6M. A Capital: The capital fiord has approximately $1.3M non-FIP capital cash and $2.5M FIP capital cash. LRCP loan balance $9.9M. Landfall Clubhouse windows currently being installed. > Key Metrics: Current Full membership is 800, Sports is 500, House is 164. Sellers List has 76 remaining. We currently have 129 in the Full waitlist and 56 on the Sports Member waitlist. There are 28 members on both waitlists. > Forecast: 2021 Forecast is $861K surplus and$2.2M surplus after the payroll tax credit compared to a budget of$22K surplus. The forecast will be updated quarterly. Strategic Plan/Bv-Laws/AOI ➢ The 2020 Strategic and Financial Model Plan, which was previously endorsed by the Board, was presented. ➢ The proposed By-Laws and Articles of Incorporations changes were presented. Proposed changes are only administrative items. A Annual Member Meeting: Videos of the Strategic and Financial Model and Proposed By-Laws and Articles of Incorporations changes have been completed, are being formatted and will be sent to the membership. Members will be notified they will receive a ballot to vote on by-law changes and Strategic Plan with changes, to be sent out in June 2021. Ballot will be electronic for those who can handle electronically and then mailed to those who request. COVID Update ➢ A motion was made by Ken Johnson and seconded effective June 1, 2021 —June 30, 2021 anyone requesting a single rider cart will be charged$33 cart fee. Effective July 1, 2021, anyone requesting a single rider cart will be charged$44.All in favor. > Towel service will begin at the Sports Center and Golf by the end of May. > Group fitness classes will return to normal capacity. > Pool reservations will remain in place at this time; however, walk-ins will be honored if there is capacity. > Reformer equipment will be returned to the Sports Center by end of May. ➢ The Men's 19th Hole will remain opened Thursday—Saturday as co-ed. ➢ A motion was made by Chuck Munn and seconded to end the mandatory $2 tip on golf rounds effective June 30th. All in favor. ➢ A vaccine clinic will be held at the Landfall Clubhouse June 8th 3:00 p.m. — 7:00 p.m. and will be opened to the Landfall Community and staff. > An employee appreciation luncheon will be held May 24th and those employees who have been fully vaccinated will receive a $50 gift card. ➢ The unaccompanied guest policy will be reinstated in all areas. Dye Update ➢ There is $80K remaining in contingency. > Temporary stairs are being reviewed and may be necessary to prevent a delay in opening the Dye Clubhouse to the membership due to a delay in the permanent stair fabrication. General Manager Report ➢ Aerial photos of the short game area were presented. ➢ Discussion was had to recommend that CCL look at ways we can accommodate all teams for member golf events. 13 teams, 26 players did not get into the Men's Member/Member tournament. ➢ The Board endorsed that we try to accommodate outside golf outings, not previously approved, at the Dye Course on Tuesdays. > CCL will no longer offer a twilight rate for golf. > Shade structure options for the Landfall Clubhouse terrace are being reviewed. ➢ Swim team will take place this summer. It will be necessary for the pool to be closed when a home meet takes place.
