Attn: Plant Manager 3300 Westinghouse Blvd Charlotte,NC 28241 Subject: Request for Additional Information IGM Resins USA, Inc. NPDES Permit NCS000049 Mecklenburg County Dear Permittee: The IGM Resins USA, Inc. stormwater permit NCS000049 expired on October 31, 2021. A renewal application was received on October 21, 2020. To enable us to complete our review in accordance with NCGS 143-215.1 and 15A NCAC 02H .0105, the Division requested the following additional information: I. An update of permit facility contacts. 2. A description of industrial activity occurring and chemicals stored onsite; 3. Confirmation on the number of outfalls and associated coordinates; 4. Description of industrial activity in each drainage area; 5. SIC (NAICS) code; 6. An electronic spreadsheet summarizing all of the monitoring data that has been collected since the effective date of the current permit; 7. Verification that the information in the renewal application is still complete and correct; and 8. An explanation of any operational changes since the renewal application was submitted. Per 15A NCAC 02H .0107(b) and the terms found in Part III, Section A. 8. of your stormwater permit, you are required to provide information to the Division when requested. On May 3, 2023, the Division sent the additional information request. The Division followed up on this request on June 7, 2023 and July 7,2023. Our records indicate that as of the date of this letter,the additional information requested has not been received. Failure to provide requested information to the Division is a violation of the terms of your permit, subjecting you to a possible enforcement action(s). In order to reduce the risk of receiving enforcement action,you must submit the requested information to the Division within sixty (60) calendar days of receipt of this notice. If no response is received within 60 calendar days, the application will be withdrawn from our review process, the existing permit will be rescinded, and any future discharge of stormwater from the site will be considered a discharge without permit coverage and subject to enforcement action(s).
