Permit NC0021709 Jefferson WWTP The Town of Jefferson (P.O.
08/09/23 Box 67. Jefferson, NC 28640)
has requested renewal of
NPDES permit NC0021709 for
its Wastewater Treatment Plant,
located in Ashe County.
This permitted facility dis-
charges treated municipal and
industrial wastewater to Naked
Creek, a class C+ water in the
New River Basin. Some of the
parameters in the permit are
water quality limited. This dis-
charge may affect future alloca-
tions in this segment of Naked
Creek.
