The Roxboro Steam Station received your letter March 13, 2023, transmitting a Notice f Violation (NOV-2023-LV-0127)
for one monthly exceedance of BOD at internal outfall 008. The Roxboro Steam Statio reported a monthly BOD value of
35.17 mg/L at the domestic package plant for the month of January, exceeding the NP ES monthly average BOD limit of
nce 30 mg/L. The domestic package plant is monitored annually for complia, with proc ss control testing as needed for
proper operation and maintenance. We have continued to closely monitor and investigate the plant since receiving the
elevated results given all visual indicators at that time would have led us to conclude the plant was operating normally.
All subsequent visual indicators and process control data have shown the package pla t to be performing as it should, in
compliance with stated permit limits. Should you have any questions or concerns plea a don't hesitate to reach out to
