HomeMy WebLinkAboutNCC230185_Site Plan or Location Map_20230123EROSION CONTROL PLANS LOTS 94-97 NASH COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE: The contractor is responsible for following this construction sequence in accordance with the approved plans, the special provisions provided, or as directed by the engineer. 1. Erosion and Sediment Control (E&SC) permit and a Certificate of Coverage (COC) must be obtained before any land disturbing activities occur. 2. Obtain all applicable permits, send proper notifications, schedule a pre -construction meeting with North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Raleigh regional office at (919) 791-4200, and obtain notice to proceed. 3. Construct residential temporary gravel entrances/exits. 4. Mark construction limits and all protected areas. Install orange tree protection fencing around riparian buffer zones. 5. Prior to any land disturbance activities install all perimeter erosion control measures such as temporary silt fence and silt fence outlets. 6. Install curb inlet protection at all curb inlets located down gradient from the site. Install pipe inlet protection and yard/drop inlet protection as applicable. 7. Clear, grub, and grade the lots. Stockpile topsoil at a location shown in plans or as approved by the engineer. Have stockpile surrounded with silt fence and seeded within 21 days. 8. Owner is responsible for keeping streets free of sediment and debris during the construction process. 9. Provide ground cover on all exposed slopes in accordance with the ground stabilization table. 10.After the site has stabilized remove all silt fence. Re -seed and mulch as necessary. 11. When the project is complete, the permitee shall contact DEMLR to close out the esc plan. 12.Call North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Raleigh regional office at (919) 791-4200 for final inspection to obtain a certificate of completion. Note: Sediment basins are to remain until project build out and all upgradient soils have been permanently stabilized. GENERAL APPROVED NOTES: 1. Construction details provided in this standard plan are NOT drawn to scale. 2. These details are for lots with less than one acre of land disturbance. 3. If the land disturbance on a single lot is greater than one acre, a custom plan should be submitted for the 30-day review cycle that addresses berms/diversions and sediment storage traps and basins. 4. This document is a guideline to control sediment onsite for single family lots with a disturbed area of less than one acre. Additional sediment control measures may be needed on a site -by -site basis. 5.
