Project Description
2a. Explain the purpose of the proposed project (continue on back):
To repair underminded wingwall and lay back eroding bank immediately downstream
2b. Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used:
A track hoe will be used to remove existing block. The work area will be isolated with clean rock or block and dewatered as
necessary, running silt -laden water through treatment. A new wingwall will be constructed and bank stabilized.
C. Stream Impacts: Please list all proposed impacts to the stream

1c. Comments: The width is representative of the width being impacted by the project. The remainder of the stream is not being
impacted. See attached plans and letter to County. Most of the work is being done from the toe of bank up. Riprap is being
added around the base of the immediately downstream of the existing wingwall to prevent future erosion. Some minor bank
slope is proposed to help tie in the new wingwall to a stable area (the area currently has minor toe erosion). The project has
been reviewed with Crystal Amschler of USACE and Andrew Moore of DEQ and the County has issued the required floodplain
permit_ No equipment will enter the stream and work will be complete prior to October 15 trout moratorium.
