Important maintenance procedures — Immediately after the wet detention basin is established, the plants on the vegetated shelf and perimeter of the basin should be watered twice weekly if needed, until the plants become established (commonly six weeks) — No portion of the wet detention pond should be fertilized after the first nutted fertilization that is required to establish the plants on the vegetated shelf — Stable groundcover should be maintamed in the drainage area to reduce the sediment load to the wet detention basin — If the basin must be dramed for an emergency or to perform NC 28459 LMCEI IE APR 14 2014 By: -- April 9, 2014 Re Sentry Self Storage Expansion Seasonal High Water Table Determinations Alan, On Wednesday, April 9, 2014 Land Management Group, Inc evaluated the soils within the proposed stormwater basin areas for the expansion of the Sentry Self Storage facility, located on the south side of NC 211, Brunswick County, NC Existing features and survey control points by other personnel were used to approximate the location on the proposed BMP onsite The expansion site is located on the southeast side of NC 211, approximately 0 85 miles west of the intersection on NC 211 and Beach Road, and is currently under forestry use The purpose of the evaluation was, to describe the sod profile, and quantify the depth to the seasonal high water table (SHWT) for the project engineer Figure 1 shows the proposed expansion area for this site FIGURE 1 ap \ • ..- -_ ml.l ® IDLL Ai-.2b* 1 e 1W aM n•rn The soils on this site are mapped as the Leon in the Soil Survey of Brunswick County (USDA, 1982), Figure 2 Figure 2 Three soil borings were made on the site within the footprint of the proposed stormwater structure, Figure 3. All soil borings occurred in a nearly level area with minimal soil disturbance in the upper 6 inches and have natural undisturbed soil below the surface horizons. The borings confirmed to be an Leon and Lynn Haven soil series. Figure 3: 4Y S u"i`v:` Locatlons The site is nearly level and has large drainage canals along both the eastern and western sides that are approximately five feet in depth and currently have approximately 50 inches of freeboard.. These canals appear to have been installed in the late 1970's. Additionally, the existing stormwater pond intercepts much surface and groundwater flow from this site. These two factors have substantially lowered seasonal high groundwater conditions at the location of the proposed stormwater BMP. The seasonal high water table is normally evident by observation of redoximorphic features suggesting past conditions of saturation and reduction There is evidence of relict redoximorphic features at shallow depth in all borings From observation of historic and regional drainage of the lands surrounding the site and based on soil morphological features we have estimated the contemporary SHWT to be approximately 42 inches below the soil surface for all three borings In summary, this site has areas that are proposed for stormwater basin placement These areas have sods with contemporary seasonal high water tables approximately 42" below the soil surface It is expected that these sods will be considered suitable for stormwater BMP's by NCDENR-DWQ Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions with this report or if you wish for LMG to perform any additional site specific studies in accordance with the NC DENR DWQ guidance memo If you have any questions about this report or need any additional information I may be reached at 910-452-0001, 910-620- 1137 or cturner@Imgroup net Sincerely, G Craig Turner Vice President Land Management Group Inc 3805 Wrightsville Ave Suite 15 Wilmington, NC 28403 910-452-0001 Office 910-452-0060 FAX 910-620-1137 Cell cturner@ Imgroup net N C Licensed Soil Scientist, #1091 S C Certification Number 57 www Imgroup net • info@Imgroup net • Phone 910 452 0001 • Fax 910 452 0060 3805 Wrightsville Ave, Suite 15, Wilmington, NC 28403 GKI?GGPC, 0029 EVUABAI A MAY, MC 121001M ?BY ATTO4EY PREBARIRe IRIS INST.WHt '0 FILED FOR REGIsTRATIOR HAS MADE NO REMO SEAREH OR TITLE $1000 00 PATE TRI£ OfSeaiIBEOMIESS THE SAHfE ISSPOVHIH i00l"INA y, Real Estate ;R OEC t3 PH257 BY HIS VR ITTEM AND SI&HEO cERTIrI GTEARM - - Mad after recording to 1 T M Development Inc 6013 Wellesley Place Wdml R IolfuIaI I 6Ff1L1, L4(OTiI Y lic This Ins lament was prepared by Jackson Mills & Carter P A 5710 Olearder Dnve Suite 112 Wilmml, ton NC 28403 Brief description for the Indee 18 60 acres in Brunswick County Parcel No 22100064 STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COUNTY Or BRUNSWICK GENLR V WARRANTI DEED THIS DEED made thISZ_r day of F),- 1998 by and between AGNES R LEE AS TRUS7 EE OF TIIE AGNFS R LIFE REVOCABLE TRUST and WILLIE P LEE and wira AGNES R LEE hereafler GRANTOR and J T M DFVELOPISTENT INC hereafter GRANTEE The designation Grantor and Grantee as used herein shall include said panes the,, heirs successors and assign and shall include singular plural masculineammme fo neuter as required by context y WITNESSETFI 9 That the Grantor for a valuable constderatmn paid by the Grantee the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged has and by these presents dons grant bargain sell and convey unto the Grantee in fee simple, all that certain lot or parcel of land situated in Brunswick County Noah Carolina and more particularly described as follows BEING ALL THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED ON EXHIBIT -A HERETO ATTACHED AND MADE A PART HLREOr BY REFERENCE TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the aforesaid lot or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to the Grantee in fee simple And the Gmnlor covenans with the Granted that Grantor is seized of the premises in fee simple Las the nbhl to convey the same in fee simple that ulle is marketable and free and clear of all elcumbrances and that Grantor will wanam and defend the title against the lawful claims of all persons whomoever except I All restnctive covenants of record fany 2 Ad valorem taxes for the year 1998 and therenfler 3 All utility easements permits and nyhts of way of record 4 All zomgy land use and plannmy rules rebula tons ordinances and statutes Rll' LcQ Re•'j9YM Q1Lu__ I 7 WTU,1 Lk \klnt L, a alo oY Rhli___ W.—IV .LFi311v 1-_rU 110 JACKSON hIllLS Z , 'TER )wU60N MILLS&L CARTER PA wit n • i n N •n 1. uu Q V 1 266 PG0030 IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Grantor has hereunto set then hands and seals thi, day Ind year first above wrl(ten AGNES R LEE REVOCABLE IgLIST By r >(SEAL) Agnes R Lee Trustee < (SEAL) Ndbe P 1 ee _(SEAL) Agnes R Lee STATF OF FLORIDA COUNTY OF f I a Notary Public of the County of and Slate aforesaid do hereby cendy that AGNES R LEE TRUSTEE OF AGNES R LEE REVOCA13LF TRUST personally appeared before me this day and acknowledged the due execution of the foregoing instrument for the purposes therein expressed WITNESS my hand and official stamp or seal this the _a day of \ 199g My Commission Expires (AFFIX NOTARIAL SEAL) STATE Of FLORIDA COUNTY OF ; Notary Public / ioao 90h11[H CCYNOSSgN/[C Y)]I 1 rYnaFSwSYn b IJ IAJ emU M. aM1 Ant Wunrv.
