I CERTIFY THAT THESE PLANS WERE PREPARED AND THAT THE PROJECT SHALL BE
CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING PLANS, THE LATEST EDITION OF
THE ENGINEERING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS OF THE TOWN OF HOLLY
SPRINGS AND OTHER APPLICABLE TOWN ORDINANCES AND POLICIES. THE ENGINEER
WHOSE SEAL AND SIGNATURE APPEAR BELOW CERTIFIES THAT THE TOWN OF HOLLY
SPRINGS ENGINEERING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS HAVE BEEN THOROUGHLY
REVIEWED FOR THE APPLICABILITY TO THIS PARTICULAR PROJECT. ANY PROPOSED
EXCEPTIONS OR DEVIATIONS FROM THE STANDARDS ARE LISTED SPECIFICALLY ON SHEET
CO.0 OF THESE DRAWINGS. FURTHERMORE, THESE PLANS WERE PREPARED IN
CONFORMANCE WITH THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR THIS PROJECT.
PROJECT NARRATIVE:
THIS PROJECT IS A 10,400 SF, FLEX USE BUILDING AND ASSOCIATED ACCESS, PARKING, AND
UTILITIES. THE PROJECT IS LOCATED IN THE HOLLY SPRINGS INDUSTRIAL PARK IN HOLLY SPRINGS,
NORTH CAROLINA. THE CURRENT PARCEL IS 3.65 ACRES.
THE MAJORITY OF THE PROPERTY IS WOODED. THERE IS NO 100 YEAR FLOODPLAIN. THERE IS
JURISDICTIONAL INTERMITTENT STREAM AND JURISDICTIONAL WETLAND AS PER A RECENT WETLAND
DELINEATION AND STREAM EVALUATION. SINCE THE PROPERTY LIES IN CAPE FEAR RIVER BASIN, A 30'
RIPARIAN BUFFERS IS APPLICABLE ON EITHER SIDE OF THE EXISTING POTENTIAL JURISDICTIONAL
STREAM. THERE WILL BE NO PROPOSED IMPACT TO THE RIPARIAN BUFFER AS WELL AS WETLAND
BUFFER. THERE IS ONE STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT AND ONE SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT ON THE
SITE.
PROPOSED AREAS OF EXISTING VEGETATION TO BE SAVED WILL BE DELINEATED WITH TREE PROTECTION
AND SILT FENCES. IT IS PROPOSED THAT RUN-OFF FROM THE DEVELOPED AREA WILL BE ROUTED TO
STROMWATER PIPES AND SAFELY DISCHARGED TO UNCONFINED AREA. THE OUTLET WILL BE PROTECTED
WITH ADEQUATELY SIZED RIP -RAP OUTLET PAD.
THERE ARE NO SPECIAL OR EXPERIMENTAL EROSION CONTROL DEVICES AND THE CONSTRUCTION
SEQUENCE IS HOLLY SPRINGS STANDARD. THIS PARCEL IS GRANDFATHERED FROM MEETING THE TOWN
OF HOLLY SPRINGS STORMWATER REGULATIONS.

8. ALL EXISTING UTILITIES AND STORM STRUCTURES ARE SHOWN PER SURVEY DATA AND ARE
APPROXIMATE. CONTRACTOR IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE TO FIELD VERIFY ACTUAL LOCATION AND
DEPTH OF EXISTING UTILITIES PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION AND SHALL CALL
UTILITY LOCATOR TO VERIFY LOCATION OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES.
9. ALL SIDEWALKS, STOOPS, TERRACES AND OTHER PAVED AREAS SHALL SLOPE AWAY FROM
BUILDINGS) AT 2%(MIN).
10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN EACH DITCH IN AN UNOBSTRUCTED CONDITION AND SHALL
REMOVE FROM THESE AREAS ALL DEBRIS, LOGS, TIMBER, TRASH, JUNK AND OTHER
ACCUMULATIONS.
11. TOPSOIL STRIPPED FROM THE SITE IS TO BE STOCKPILED AND USED FOR BACKFILLING ALL
LANDSCAPE ISLANDS, BEDS AND LAWN AREAS. TOPSOIL IS TO BE SPREAD TO A DEPTH OF AT
LEAST 6" AS SOIL IS AVAILABLE.
12. ALL AREAS NOT COVERED WITH PAVING, GRAVEL, BUILDING OR PLANTING BEDS SHALL BE
SEEDED AS SHOWN IN THE SEEDBED PREP. AND SEEDING SCHEDULE NOTES. (SEE THE
LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR SPECIFIC LAWN AREAS)
13. THIS PROJECT IS REQUIRED TO MEET TOWN OF HOLLY SPRINGS' NPDES PHASE II POST
CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER ORDINANCE.
