Hi Bethany,
Let's just update the metadata for the documents to reflect the correct County. Chatham County has accepted and
released our permit.
Thank You,

Rick,
We cannot alter what the applicant put on the eNO1 application (that is intentional since that person signs a Certification
as part of this process). Since you identified the mistake within 60 days, you have the option to submit a Notice of
Termination (NOT) and then resubmit a new eNO1 application for this project with the correct County. We would just
apply the original fee to that eNO1 and issue a new permit. If you wish to pursue that option, please submit the NOT
request for this permit, and then let us know as soon as you have submitted the new eNO1. We will coordinate
approvals for both.
Otherwise, I can update the metadata for the documents to reflect the correct County, but it will not change the record
or the information on the COC. Many permittees just opt for this to save the extra steps, but that's up to you.
Please let us know what you want to do.
Thanks,
Bethany Georgoulias (she/her)

Subject: Construction Stormwater General Permit Coverage
Dear Construction General Permit Permittee:
You have been granted coverage under North Carolina's NPDES General Stormwater Permit for Construction Activities.
Your Certificate of Coverage (COC) number is NCC222878, and your COC is attached.
This COC has been issued for Whispering Meadows - Lots 5, 6 and 11 in Alamance County, in response to the Notice of
Intent (NOI) application submitted on 8/10/2022.
You are required to follow the conditions of the NCG010000 General Permit (or NCG250000 General Permit, if
applicable) for the duration of your construction activity. You will be covered by this COC until you submit an electronic
Notice of Termination (eNOT), provided you remain current with your annual permit fees.
Remember, you must submit the ORIGINAL SIGNED NOI CERTIFICATION FORM that was uploaded to the eNOI to the
Stormwater Program at the address on that form. The original signed NOI Certification Form is required to fulfill federal
application requirements.
If you have any questions, please contact the Stormwater Program at (919) 707-3640, or visit https://deg.nc.gov/NCG01.
