ANY NEEDED REPAIRS SHALL BE MADE IMMEDIATELY TO MAINTAIN MEASURES AS DESIGNED. ALL ESC MEASURES SHALL BE MAINTAINED AS SPECIFIED IN THE CONSTRUCTION DETAILS ON THIS PLAN. A RAIN GAUGE SHALL BE INSTALLED AT THE PROJECT SITE FOR MONITORING. 13. TEMPORARY SEED AND MULCH ALL AREAS DISTURBED WITHIN MINIMUM REQUIRED TIMEFRAME SEE TEMPORARY SEEDING SCHEDULE AND THE STABILIZATION TIMEFRAME NOTED ON C-2.2 AND C-2.3. PER NPDES PERMIT, "GROUND STABILIZATION WILL BE APPLIED WITHIN 14 CALENDAR DAYS FROM LAST LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITY. FOR STEEP SLOPES, THAT AREA MUST BE STABILIZED WITHIN 7 CALENDAR DAYS". CUT, FILL, AND DIRT PILE SLOPES ARE TO BE TRACKED. ANY BARE SOILS BETWEEN THE DOWNSTREAM BASIN TOE OF SLOPE OR DIVERSION DITCHES AND THE LIMITS OF DISTURBANCE ARE TO BE SEEDED, MULCHED, AND TACKED. ALSO, THE UP AND DOWNSTREAM BASIN SLOPES SHALL BE COVERED WITH A SUITABLE RECP AFTER SEEDING. 14. INSPECT AND MAINTAIN THE EROSION CONTROL DEVICES SO THEY CONTINUE TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. REFER TO THE EROSION CONTROL DETAILS FOR SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR EACH DEVICE. THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR EROSION CONTROL IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING THE INITIATIVE IN INSPECTING AND MAINTAINING THESE DEVICES, • DO NOT WAIT FOR THE EROSION CONTROL INSPECTOR TO POINT OUT THE NEED FOR MAINTENANCE REPAIRS. KEEP MUD AND DEBRIS OFF THE PUBLIC STREET AT ALL TIMES. IF MUD OR DEBRIS IS TRACKED FROM THE SITE, USE A SHOVEL AND BROOM TO REMOVE IT IMMEDIATELY. 15. DURING THE COURSE OF CONSTRUCTION, IF THE SIGNIFICANT SEDIMENT IS LEAVING THE SITE DESPITE PROPER IMPLEMENTATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE APPROVED EROSION CONTROL PLAN, THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LAND -DISTURBING ACTIVITY IS OBLIGATED TO TAKE ADDITIONAL PROTECTIVE ACTION AND NOTIFY ENGINEER OF THE NEED FOR ADDITIONAL MEASURES. 16. ONCE SITE GRADING IS COMPLETE, PERMANENTLY STABILIZE ALL DISTURBED AREAS. 17. BEGIN EARTHWORK AND EXCAVATION ACTIVITIES TO ACHIEVE THE PROPOSED GRADES SHOWN FOR AREAS DRAINING TO SKIMMER BASIN. ONCE ALL UPLAND AREAS ARE STABILIZED, CALL EROSION CONTROL INSPECTOR FOR APPROVAL TO DECOMMISSION AND REMOVE THE SEDIMENT BASIN PER DETAIL. CONTRACTOR SHALL USE A SILT BAG WITH A FLOATING INTAKE AND CONSTANTLY MONITORED WHEN DEWATERING. IF SOILS ARE OVERLY WET AND UNABLE TO BE TRANSPORTED, CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE A SUITABLE AREA ADJACENT TO THE BASIN WHERE THE SOUPY SOILS CAN BE PLACED AND COMPLETELY SURROUNDED WITH SILT FENCE. SOILS SHALL BE DEPOSITED HERE AND ALLOWED TO DRAIN/DRY UNTIL THEY CAN BE LOADED INTO A TRUCK AND HAULED AWAY OR USED ON -SITE. 20. REGRADE/FINE GRADE THE AREA WHERE THE BASIN WAS TO PROMOTE UNIFORM SHEET FLOW AND TO TIE TO EXISTING/SURROUNDING TOPOGRAPHY. RESEED AND MAT/STABILIZE THESE AREAS AS NEEDED BASED UPON THE FINAL SLOPES IN THESE AREAS. INSTALL RETAINING WALL AS SHOWN ON THE PLAN. 21. SITE STABILIZATION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO FINAL APPROVAL OF GRADING PERMIT AND ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY. GRASS UTILIZED AS PERMANENT GROUND COVER MUST BE AT A MOWABLE HEIGHT THAT GENERALLY PROVIDES AT LEAST 80% COVERAGE THROUGHOUT THE SITE, WITH NO LARGE BARE PATCHES OR EVIDENCE OF EROSION. ANY BARE SOILS BETWEEN THE DOWNSTREAM TOE OF THE BASIN(S) AND/OR DIVERSIONS AND THE PERIMETER MEASURE WILL BE SEEDED AFTER SEEDBED PREP WITH SOIL AMENDMENTS, MULCH AND TACK. ALL BARE SOILS ARE TO BE STABILIZED UNDER CONDITIONS OUTLINED IN THE THE CURRENT NPDES PERMIT OR, IF IT IS IN A CRITICAL AREA, BY THE END OF THE DAY. 22. ONCE ALL AREAS ARE STABILIZED, CALL EROSION CONTROL OFFICER AT 919-791-4200 FOR INSPECTION AND APPROVAL TO REMOVE SILT FENCE AND OTHER REMAINING EROSION CONTROL MEASURES. 23. PLACE TOPSOIL AND PERMANENTLY SEED OR OTHERWISE STABILIZE THE REMAINING DISTURBED AREAS PER THE PLANS. 24. WHEN THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE, THE PERMITTEES SHALL CONTACT DEMLR TO CLOSE OUT THE E&SC PLAN. 25. AFTER DLMR INFORMS THE PERMITTEE OF THE PROJECT CLOSE OUT, VIA INSPECTION REPORT, THE PERMITTEE SHALL VISIT DEQ.NCGOV/NCG01 TO SUBMIT AN ELECTRONIC NOTICE OF TERMINATION (E-NOT). A $100 ANNUAL GENERAL PERMIT FEE WILL BE CHARGED UNTIL THE E-NOT HAS BEEN FILLED OUT. EROSION CONTROL NOTES: 1. THIS SITE IS SUBJECT TO VANCE AND GRANVILLE COUNTY REQUIREMENTS. 2.
