Subject: Permit Modifications for IUP 000033 and IUP 000040
Dear Mr. McGee:
The City of Sanford are submitting modifications for IUP 000033 (Caterpillar Paint&
Plating Operations)and IUP 000040 (Caterpillar Inc.). The modification are as follows:
• IUP 000033: Pipe 02 flow limit went from a daily maximum of 0.044 MGD to a
monthly average of 0.044 MGD.
• IUP 000040:Pipe 01 flow limit went from a daily maximum of 0.027 MGD to a
monthly average of 0.027 MGD. The pipe 02 flow limit went from a daily maxi-
mum of 0.0373 MGD to a monthly average of 0.0373.
Changing the flow limits to monthly averages as opposed to daily maximums more accu-
rately depicts both facilities batch processing practices.
Attached are copies of the modified permits and copies of their respective transmittal let-
ters. The allocation table has not changed in reference to these modifications.
If there are questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at(919)777-1783.
