Soil Erosion & Sedimentation Control Plan Review Reasons for Approval with Modifications Use the required basin volume to calculate skimmer and orifice size instead of proposed volume. Adjust TD#1 and/or the sediment basin baffles and/or the skimmer location within the basin so that the runoff flowing to the basin goes through the three sets of baffles before it reaches the skimmer. It is recommended that the baffles "horseshoe" around the skimmer. Ensure TD#1 has positive drainage its entire length in order to convey the runoff to the basin adequately. J-hook silt fence up the sides of the emergency spillway (similar to how it is shown at the construction entrances). Show emergency spillway in Erosion Control Stage 2. Use the required basin volume to calculate skimmer and orifice size instead of proposed volume. CC1: CC2: 1303 Cherryville Highway, Dallas, NC 28034 Citizens Resource Center Telephone: 704-9224181
