FINAL GRADING CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE
1. REMOVE SKIMMER SEDIMENT BASINS #1 AND #3 AND INSTALL REMAINDER
OF FILL SLOPES IN THESE AREAS. MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL DEVICES
AT TOE OF FILL SLOPES AS SHOWN. CONTRACTOR SHALL UTILIZE AN 8'x10'
SILT BAG FOR ALL DEWATERING OPERATIONS.
2. CONVERT EXISTING SKIMMER SEDIMENT BASINS #2 AND #5 TO PERMANENT
STORMWATER MANAGEMENT DEVICES, WHICH INCLUDES REMOVAL OF
BAFFLES, EMERGENCY SPILLWAY AND SKIMMER DEVICE. INSTALL OUTLET
STRUCTURE AND BARREL. REFER TO SHEETS SWM3 AND SWM5 FOR MORE
DETAILED SEQUENCING STEPS ON THE CONVERSION OF THESE SEDIMENT
BASINS TO THE PERMANENT SAND FILTER AND PERMANENT DRY
DETENTION BASIN. MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL DEVICES AT TOE OF FILL
SLOPES AS SHOWN. CONTRACTOR SHALL UTILIZE AN 8'X10' SILT BAG FOR
ALL DEWATERING OPERATIONS.
3. EXISTING SKIMMER SEDIMENT BASIN #4 SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE FOR
DURATION OF PROJECT AND WILL NOT BE CLOSED OUT.
4. RESEED/STABILIZE DISTURBED AREAS IMMEDIATELY AFTER GRADES HAVE
BEEN ACHIEVED. TEMPORARY VEGETATIVE COVER SHALL BE PROVIDED
WITHIN 7 DAYS ON PERIMETER AREAS AND SLOPES GREATER THAN 3:1.
TEMPORARY VEGETATIVE COVER SHALL BE PROVIDED WITHIN 14 DAYS ON
ALL OTHER AREAS. PERMANENT GROUNDCOVER SHALL BE ESTABLISHED
IN 15 WORKING DAYS OR 90 CALENDAR DAYS, WHICHEVER IS SHORTER.
HOWEVER, NPDES GROUNDCOVER REQUIREMENTS TAKE PRECEDENCE.
5. CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL MEASURES UNTIL VEGETATIVE
COVER HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED OVER ALL DISTURBED AREAS AND SITE
HAS BEEN STABILIZED. REMOVE EROSION CONTROL MEASURES ONLY
AFTER FINAL INSPECTION AND APPROVAL BY INSPECTOR. PROVIDE
PERMANENT SEEDING WHERE MEASURES HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND
GROUND COVER IS NOT ESTABLISHED.
6. WHEN THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE, THE PERMITTEE SHALL CONTACT THE
EROSION CONTROL INSPECTOR TO CLOSE OUT THE E&SC PLAN. AFTER
THE EROSION CONTROL INSPECTOR INFORMS THE PERMITTEE OF THE
PROJECT CLOSE OUT, VIA INSPECTION REPORT, THE PERMITTEE SHALL
VISIT DEQ.NC.GOV/NCGO1 TO SUBMIT AN ELECTRONIC NOTICE OF
TERMINATION (E-NOT). A $100 ANNUAL GENERAL PERMIT FEE WILL BE
CHARGED UNTIL THE E-NOT HAS BEEN FILLED OUT.
