As best we can reconstruct it: -The previous permittee for NCG210027, Dimension Wood Products Inc., applied for a No Exposure Certification (NCGNE1243) in late 2017 -That No Exposure request was not approved, and the permit COC No. NCG210027 remained in place as of January 2018. -For some reason, a letter was sent out in June 2019 noting that the No Exposure NCGNE1243 had been approved and issued on June 14, 2018, and that NCG210027 was therefore being rescinded (later than it should have been). -However, that approval was never entered into our permitting system, and we cannot locate documentation of an approval either in the Central Office or in the Mooresville Regional Office. We have concluded that the No Exposure Certification No. NCGNE1243 was probably never approved, and that this was a mix-up. Either way, NCG210027 is no longer an active permit Certificate of Coverage (COC), and the application for NCGNE1243 was withdrawn in efforts to tie up loose ends on obsolete applications last fall. So basically, there is nothing in place to transfer to a new owner at this site. I think this makes the action required on your part more straightforward, though - you all just need to apply for a new NPDES Stormwater permit (if you are seeking coverage under General Permit NCG210000 or a different GP) or for a No Exposure Certification (whichever applies). Please see the information on our website and let Brittany Carson know if you have any questions about that process. The permit (NCG210027) was rescinded in 2019. However, we seem to be missing records for the No Exposure NCGNE1243 that was supposedly approved in 2019. It had been initially denied in 2018. We are trying to clear this up, so I will let you know when I find out more information. There is a link into our documents repository for each permit on that map, and you'll be able to locate permit records that way. For the second one, the prior owner (who is technically the current permit -holder) and the new owners need to fill out this form: https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Name-Change The save -draft feature is not very reliable, so if you need to print it off and have it signed, that's okay. Just mail it back in to my attention at the address below. If you cannot get the other owners to sign the paperwork to do the transfer, you'll have to apply for a new COC. Good Afternoon Bethany, My name is Stewart Huffman and I am the EH&S specialist for Ethan Allen Operations INC Maiden Uph Division. I wanted to reach out to you because I have 2 questions. My first question would be how would I be able to acquire our storm water permit for our Maiden Site? I have replaced a individual that when he left, he took a lot of our documentation and in circling around I am trying to find our stormwater permit and have not been able to find anything. My second question is, last friday we closed on a building that is in Claremont NC and the Permit number NCG210027. We are going to need to change over the name for this permit and I was just wondering how I needed to go about getting this taken care of.
