A preliminary review of that information has determined that the application is not complete. The following information is needed to continue the stormwater review: Delineate all wetlands on site, or note on the plans that none exist. 2. In order to allow the use of a detention pond, you must demonstrate that the receiving waters are not class SA. Each project that drains to class SA waters and proposes a detention pond must provide it's own chlorides test. Provide the results of the required chlorides test conducted at a point in the receiving stream that is at least 1 /2 mile downstream from the proposed outlet, after a minimum of 3 days without rain, and at high tide. Provide a USGS map showing the project site and the location of the sample site downstream. This directive is scheduled to be rescinded soon, so please get it in as soon as possible. 3. Please reference the project number above on all correspondence. 127 Cardinal Dr. Ext., Wilmington, North Carolina 28405 Telephone 910-395-3900 FAX 910-350-2004 An Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer 50% recycled/10 % post -consumer paper Mr. Albanese January 6, 2000 Stormwater Project No. SW8 991201 Please note that this request for additional information is in response to a preliminary review. The return of a project will necessitate resubmittal of all required items, including the application fee. The Division is allowed 90 days from the receipt of a completed application to issue the permit.
