To whom it may concern,
The City of Rocky Mount is submitting this letter in response to the annual reporting requirement for the
city's MS4 annual report.
On May 7'h, 2021, the City of Rocky Mount received notification of a MS4 Permit Compliance Audit.
The audit was performed on dune 21, 2021.
On JuIy 22"d, the City of Rocky Mount received a Notice of Violation (NOV-2021-PC-0343) from the
Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources regarding its NPDES MS4 Permit (No. NCS000442).
Within 30 calendar days of the receipt of the notice, the city submitted written notice of the intent to
comply. Within 60 calendar days of the receipt of the notice, the Rocky Mount City Council passed a
resolution of support for a compliant stormwater management program. Within 120 days of the receipt of
this notice, the city will submit the requested documentation (updated Stormwater Master Plan) from the
audit.
