f the same person conducts the land -disturbing activity and
any related borrow or .vastr activity, the related borro v or
vvaete activity shall constitute part of the land -disturbing
activity unless the borro•ni or waste activrty is regulated by the
Dltnson of Sohd Waste Management. If the land -disturbing
activity and any related borrow or ,vaete activity are not
conducted by the same person, they shall be considered
separate land disturbing activities and must be permitted either
through the Sedimentation and Follutior Control Act as a
one-,i5e-burro site or through the Mming Act.
General Notes:
I . All construction methods and materials shall conform to the NCDOT,
Orange County Erosion Control, Orange County Standard 5pecificatlons
� Details, and the NC Plumbing Code.
2. Boundary and existing feature information obtained from survey
information provided by Freehold Land Surveys, Inc., Chapel Hill, North
Carolina (Job No. J2546 I ). Topographic information obtained from
Orange County G15.
3. Exact size and location Of existing Utilities are to be field verified by
Orange County Engineering staff prior to connection or new construction
of Utilities.
4. The owner shall be responsible for acc(uiring all permits, easements,
construction approvals, and as -built certifications for this project.
5. Contact the project engineer immediately with any conflicts regarding
the design or construction of the project. All field adJustments shall be
verified by the project engineer prior to construction.
G. Construction and location of sidewalk, slopes, landings, approaches,
ramps, and accessible routes shall be in accordance with the AN51 2009
Handicap code or latest rev15lon.
7. Contractor shall contact project engineer to observe formwork for site
curb, concrete sidewalks, and other items as well as string lines or other
controls prior to the placement of concrete, setting base course stone,
or the placement of asphalt.
6. Compaction of fill materials, approval of residual subgrade, soli proof
rolls, stone placement, and/or other materials testing functions shall be
in accordance with the project geotechnical engineer's gulciance,
5pec1f1cation5, recommendations, and testing standards.
