One area of the project drains into Marshall Ash Basin which is
further treated by Evoqua treatment system and ultimately
discharged through Outfall 002 of NPDES Permit NC0004987 to the
Catawba River (Lake Norman). Another area of the project drains
into Gypsum collection ponds and is pumped to the Lined Retention
Basin (LRB) and is discharged through Outfall 005 of NPDES
Permit NC0004987 to the Catawba River (Lake Norman).
