Ms. McCoy, Attached is some information concerning a new stormwater outfall at CLTWater's Sugar Creek Water Resource Recovery Facility. This facility's certificate of coverage is NCG110012. The facility's certificate of coverage is NCG110012. Charlotte Water is in the process of constructing a new maintenance building for the facility to replace the old maintenance building located adjacent to Little Sugar Creek. As a result of this construction, a new outfall will be created consisting of a15-inch reinforced concrete pipe. The outfall will convey runoff mostly from the maintenance building and surrounding area. Requested details regarding this new outfall are provided in the table below. Outfall Number SDO 016 Latitude 35009'11.34" N Longitude 80051'17.80" W Receiving Waterbody Little Sugar Creek (11-137-8) Description Northeastern portion of parcel 17123105 (primary plant parcel). Outfall discharges to ephemeral channel onsite before draining through roadway culvert and into receiving waterbody. In addition, Charlotte Water is in the process of updating relevant portions of the facility's Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and Site Plan figure.
