The site is being developed for single-family residential homes. The current stormwater drainage at this site terminates at the existing wetlands that cross through the middle of the site. The site meets the qualifications of a low density development. The average density for the development is 1.13 units/acre compared to the maximum of 2 units/acre to satisfy the requirements set forth by NCDEQ. The roads within the development will convey storm water via grassed roadway ditches. The grassed roadway ditches will terminate near the wetlands crossing the middle of the site. Swales that terminate at the wetlands provide flow velocities less than the allowable 2.0 fps. The roads in the subdivision are designed in accordance with NCDOT standards. Based on our study and review of the NCDEQ BMP manual and NC Session Law 2006- 246 Section 9 paragraph c, Rolling Springs Section 7 meets and/or exceeds the requirements and intent for low density development. 409 Chicago Drive.
