Describe the Attached is the map of the Watersheds that are regulated within the Town of
attachments: Huntersville as well as the Town Zoning Ordinance that includes the regulations
and the Huntersville Sediment and Control Ordinance that references the
watersheds as well. Also, please find attached various documents that are used for
customers to remedy cases where properties either exceed or seek to exceed their
impervious area maximum. Impervious area transfers by plat are used for eligible
properties within the same major subdivision, density averaging is used for eligible
property pairs that are not within the same major subdivision and properties that
are not within subdivisions, and variances are process per State statute
requirements (with the contingency that variance request regarding impervious
area that exceed the prescribed threshold must be forwarded to the State for
additional review).
