Distribution Center facility located at 6809 Corporation Parkway, Battleboro, Nash County, North Carolina. This sampling event represents a Tiered response monitoring event with samples collected in March 2020. Zinc was detected above the BMV at DC001, showing a concentration of 0.13 mg/L. DC-BG001 background sampling location showed a concentration of 0.15 mg/L of zinc. This indicates that the stormwater flowing onto the property has a higher concentration of zinc than the runoff produced by the site. Tiered monitoring will continue for zinc monthly until three consecutive sample results are below the benchmark values. In accordance with Part II, Section B of the general permit, Draka Elevator, Inc. will conduct tiered monitoring during the next qualifying rain event. For purposes of this permit the definition of Total Toxic Organics is that definition contained in the EPA Effluent Guidelines for the facility subject to the requirement to sample (for metal finishing use the definition as found in 40 CFR 433.11; for semiconductor manufacture use the definition as found in 40 CFR 469.12; for electronic crystal manufacture use the definition as found in 40 CFR 469.22; and for cathode ray tube manufacture use the definition found in 40 CFR 469.31). I further certify that this facility is implementing the all the provisions of the solvent management plan included in the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan."
