As we discussed on the phone, routing the stormwater from the parking lot north of your perimeter to Outfall 4 does not require a permit modification. Additionally, that parking lot would be considered a non -industrial area because there are no industrial activities occurring in the lot itself. Georgia-Pacific can make this change whenever is most practical for you. I apologize for the delay in processing your renewal application! We are working through a huge backlog. I will get back with you once I start on your permit. Please don't hesitate to call or email if you have any questions. Do not click links or open attachments unless yo Wort.spam@nc.gov Mr. Meloy / Ms. Gamble, Thank you for your help in this matter and responding so quickly! Just a couple of questions if I may. First, I would assume that this would be a minor modification and if so is there a form for this submission? I apologize for the ask but is there a form specifically for a modification request or is the Application Form 1 used for such requests? Secondly, for my understanding, would DEQ consider this parking lot in question to be an Industrial Activity or Non - Industrial Activity based on your understand of our earlier conversation? In summary, this area contains secured tractor/trailer loaded with final product that are temporarily staged for transport. There are no chemicals exposed to the elements, nor is there any transfer of product, fueling, loading/unloading or maintenance activities occurring in this area. Lastly, with DEQ guidance we are continuing to operate our facility based on our NCS000251 permit that expired on January 31, 2016 until the renewed permit can be reissued. Understanding that reissuance of permits are due to limited resources, can I assume that this official modification would be delayed as well, and if so would it be possible to make our requested process change based an email chain followed by the official modification request? Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns and thank you in advance for your help in this matter!
