Janowski, PE STORM WATER MANAGEMENT NARRATIVEIECKEU EP EGRET BOAT WORKS BEAUFORT COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA NOV - 3 2005 Narrative DWQ-WARQ This project site consists of 7.00 acres, 3.50 Acres of which will be collected in a proposed storm drainage system consisting of grass lined swales and a stormwater wet detention facility that will treat stormwater runoff before it is eventually discharged into the existing roadside ditch along NCSR 1456 (Page Road). Runoff from this site eventually drains to Mitchell Branch in the Tar -Pamlico River Basin. The property is bounded by NCSR 1456 (Page Road) to the West, and commercial and agricultural sites to the North, South, and East. The site will be a new development and is currently vacant. The current project will develop one half of the existing property with reservation for future development on the remaining portion. The completed project will consist of one undisturbed 3.50 acre drainage area and one 3.50 acre drainage area draining into the proposed drainage swales and wet detention pond conveyed eventually in to the existing roadside ditches located along NCSR 1456 (Page Road). The watershed breakdown is as follows: IMPERVIOUS AREA CALCULATIONS New Buildings 0.68 ac New Pavement 1.31 ac Upon completion of the proposed site improvements, the site will have 1.99 acres of impervious area and will be 28.57% built upon area, with 56.85% percent impervious in the drainage area -of 3.50 acres. The watershed that drains into the proposed drainage swales is collected via sheet flow from the parking lot and will be treated by the proposed wet detention facility and2'` before release into the existing roadside ditch. 1015 Conference Drive o Greenville, North Carolina 27858 El 252-756-1390 [D Fax: 252-321-1412 P!eusrS+cYS.+:':N.^lansrR.r.,',[y✓i?t's73w'..,r.rR-:-- Email: admin@baldwinondassociatesne.eom ""'A"eea ,+a*rr arrrtxac;R!al.+:xa^. • l Name of Stream Description Corr.
