NPDES Permit No. NCS000332 To Whom It May Concern: Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc. (Hexion) operates under NPDES Permit No. NCS000332. As a part of this permit, Hexion is required to submit semiannual Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs). Please find enclosed the completed DMR Form (Attachment 1) and the analytical testing report (Attachment 2) for Period 1 (October 2018 to March 2019). Also included is an additional copy of the form, as required by Permit NCS000332 for the monitoring period October 2018 — March 2019. The analytical report received from Pace Analytical indicated that the sample was tested outside of the EPA specified holding time of 72 hours for formaldehyde (method 8315) due to lab logistics. As such, Hexion has deemed the formaldehyde result is invalid. 711e facility will retest formaldehyde within 30 days and submit a subsequent DMR. This DMR serves to report results for ammonia, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and pH for Period 1 (October 2018 to March 201.9). If you have any questions or require any additional information, please contact me at 828.219.3503.
