"There was not a representative rainfall event that occurred in the month of August or
September on a date that would allow for samples to be collected. Therefor the samples
were collected as soon as possible during a representative rainfall event.
Enclosed you will find the original and I copy of'the compliance reports on forms SWU-
247 and S WU-242 as required by Permit No. NCS000134 for Outfall 003.
These reports are required since Avoca, Inc. has entered the Tier 2 step after the
benchmark values were previously exceeded for 2 consecutive sampling periods for
outfall 003 during semi-annual sampling events on May 22, 2012 and December 12,
2012. Avoca has implemented the Tier 2 step as outlined in the permit. Tier 2 requires
monthly monitoring of -the outfalls with exceeded benchmarks until 3 consecutive
samples are taken with values below the benchmarks. Avoca began the monthly sampling
of outfall 003 in January 2013.
The COD, TSS, and phosphorus benchmark values for Outfall 003 were exceeded
with the most recent samples collected on 10/16/2019.
The following benchmark values were exceeded with the samples collected on December
12, 2012 that triggered the Tier 2:
- The Total Suspended solids benchmark is 100 mg/L. The result from Outfall
003 was 117 mg/L.
The COD benchmark is 120 nig/L. The result from Outfall 003 was 1014
mg/L.

The Phosphorus benchmark is 2 mg/L. The result from Outfall 003 was 6.47
mg/L.
The Nitrogen Benchmark is 30 mg/L.
The following is the results of the samples collected from outfall #003 most recently
on 10/16/2019:
- Total Suspended Solids = 400 mg/L
- COD = 986 mg/L
- Phosphorus = 6.0 mg/L
- Nitrogen = 27.66 m g/L
The results of the sampling were very favorable with no exceedances this month. Avoca
will continue to monitor the storm -water from outfall 4003 monthly. If you have any

Qualitative monitoring requirements vary. Most permits require qualitative monitoring to be
performed during a "representative storm event" or during a "measureable storm event." However,

A "representative storm event" is a storm event that measures greater than 0.1 inches of rainfall
and that is preceded by at least 72 hours (3 days) in which no storm event measuring greater than

There was not a representative rainfall event that occurred in the month of August or
September on a date that would allow for samples to be collected. "Therefor the samples
were collected as soon as possible during; a representative rainfall event,

247 and SWU-242 as required by Permit No. NCS000134 for Outfal1 003.
These reports are required since Avoca, Inc. has entered the Ticr 2 step after the
benchmark values were previously exceeded for 2 consecutive sampling; periods for
outfall 003 during; semi-annual sampling events on May 22, 2012 and December 12,
2012. Avoca has implemented the "tier 2 step as outlined in the permit. Tier 2 requires
monthly monitoring of the outfalls with exceeded benchmarks until 3 consecutive
samples are taken with values below the benchmarks. Avoca began the monthly sampling
of outfall 003 in January 2013.
The COD, TSS, and phosphorus benchmark values for Outfall 003 were exceeded
with the most recent samples collected on 10/16/2019.
The following; benchmark values were exceeded with the samples collected on December
12, 2012 that triggered the Tier 2:
- The Total Suspended solids benchmark is 100 mg;/L. The result from Outfall
003 was 117 mg/L.
- The COD benchmark is 120 mg/L. The result from Outfall 003 was 1014
mg/L.

The Phosphorus benchmark is 2 mg/L. The result from Outfal1 003 was 6.47
mg/L.
The Nitrogen Benchmark is 30 mg/L.
The following is the results of the samples collected from outfall #003 most recently
on 10/16/2019:
- Total Suspended Solids = 258 mg/L
- COD = 742 mg/L
- Phosphorus = 4.71 mg/L
- Nitrogen = 22.22 mg/L
The results of the sampling.were very favorable with no exceedances this month. Avoca
will continue to monitor the storm -water from outfall 9003 monthly. If you have any

These reports are required since Avoca, Inc. has entered the Tier 2 step after the
benchmark values were previously exceeded for 2 consecutive sampling periods for
outfall 003 during semi-annual sampling events on May 22, 2012 and December 12,
2012. Avoca has implemented the Tier 2 step as outlined in the permit. "bier 2 requires
monthly monitoring of the outfalls with exceeded benchmarks until 3 consecutive
samples are taken with values below the benchmarks. Avoca began the monthly sampling
of outfall 003 in January 2013.
The COD, TSS, and phosphorus benchmark values for Outfall 003 were exceeded
with the most recent samples collected on 10/16/2019.
The following benchmark values were exceeded with the samples collected on December
12, 2012 that triggered the Tier 2:
- The Total Suspended solids benchmark is 100 mg/L. The result from Outfall
003 was 117 mg/1...
- The COD benchmark is 120 mg/I... The result from Outfall 003 was 1014
mg/L.

The Phosphorus benchmark is 2 mg/1— The result from Outfall 003 was 6.47
mg/L.
The Nitrogen Benchmark is 30 mg/L.
The following is the results of the samples collected from outfall 4003 most recently
on 10/16/2019:
- Total Suspended Solids = 530 mg/L
- COD = 808 mg/L
- Phosphorus = 4.54 mg/L
- Nitrogen = 20.69 mg/I,
The results of the sampling were very favorable with no exceedances this month. Avoca
will continue to monitor the storm -water from outfall #003 monthly. If you have any

There was not a representative rainfall event that occurred in the month of August or
September on a date that would allow for samples to be collected. Therefore the samples
were collected as soon as possible during a representative rainfall event.
Enclosed you will find the original and 1 copy of the compliance reports on forms SWU-
247 and S WU-242 as required by Permit No. NCS000134 for Outfall 003.
These reports are required since Avoca, Inc. has entered the Tier 2 step after the
